Sierra Spellman was our families rescue dog. Her light and spirit always had a way of shining through and made the world a better place. We always referred to her as our “Ball Hound”, because her favorite thing to do was play fetch, all day every day.
Sadly, Sierra crossed over the Rainbow Bridge on September 10, 2017. Until the end she still enjoyed sleeping on the couch in her spot, getting belly rubs, playing ball, and going to the lake and finding rocks in the water to bring to us. She may have been a rescue, but in reality she rescued us, and always reminded us of what is so special about this breed.
